Our house is located in the Grisons in a region we call the Herrschaft. We are surrounded by vineyards, from which some famous wines are produced.
In the immediate vicinity of the village are the Heidi Village in Maienfeld, the thermal baths of Bad Ragaz and Chur, the oldest city in Switzerland. There also is a factory outlet store nearby.
In the winter you get in a short time to several large and small ski resorts.
In summer, the Prättigau, the Aelpli Railway (5 minutes walk from the house), and numerous hiking and biking trails that start right outside the house.
